Let’s Ride: More Info
Further to our EARLIER POST BNL is working on a “Let’s Ride” Level 1 Instructor Training course tentatively scheduled for December 11/12 in St.John’s.
This course will qualify you to be an instructor for the Let’s Ride program. Let’s Ride is a skills based introductory course designed for children aged 8 – 12 and can be taught by cyclists, parents, youth group leaders or school PE teachers. Graduates of this course will be fully certified to teach this course and will be accredited NCCP Community Initiation coaches.
Let’s Ride replaces Sprockids as the Canadian Cycling Association’s approved cycling introduction program and is fully integrated with the Long Term Athlete Development Plan and the National Coaching Certification Program.
